PEAQ 121/122 AQUA AEROBICS
Credits: 1
Format: Two 50-minute sessions per week
Level: Beginning to Advanced
Prerequisite: none

Content: The pool is a great place to get a cardio and strength building workout! You will work as hard as YOU want while remaining cool and refreshed. We move to the music and use the entire pool. Come join us for a safe, effective workout.

PEAQ 202 SWIMMING II
Credits: 1
Format: Two 50-minute sessions per week
Level: Level: Intermediate
Prerequisite: Ability to swim 50 yards and be comfortable in deep water

Content: This course is a combination of stroke improvement technique work and an introduction to a variety of conditioning and training techniques. Your endurance will improve as your strokes do; thus, making swimming more enjoyable and more efficient at the same time! 

PEAQ 221/222 SWIM CONDITIONING
Credits: 1
Format: Two 50-minute sessions per week
Level: Intermediate to advanced
Prerequisite: Swimming II or equivalent and ability to swim 500 yards continuosly

Content: This course consists of two 50-minute workouts per week including endurance, sprint and stroke work. Must be able to swim all four strokes: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle.

PEAQ 311/312 SWIM TRAINING
Credits: 2
Format: Three 75 minute sessions per week
Level: Intermediate to advanced
Prerequisite: Learn to Lap Swim, Swim Condition or equivalent ability to swim 300 yards continuosly

Content: If you are looking for a challenge, you found it! This is 75 minutes of high intensity happening three times per week. The intervals, endurance sets and pacing will inspire you to go for it all! This course was designed for the water-crazed swimmer. Come on in and bust your chops!

PEAQ 351 LIFEGUARD/CPR/FA
Credits: 1
Format: One full weekend and the following Friday evening
Level: Intermediate swimming
Prerequisite: ability to swim 300 yards continuosly and submerge to a depth of 10 feet

Content: This is a certification course that includes American Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer. You can get certified in all this in just one weekend and 3 hours! This course is a must for anyone wishing to get a job as a lifeguard, those who spend leisure time around water or anyone wanting a fun and challenging way to earn a credit! 

PEAQ 399  TRIATHLON TRAINING

Content: Swim, bike and run!  Gain multisport fitness, maximize nutrition for training and racing, and develop your own training plan.  The emphasis will be on skill development in the areas of swimming, biking and running.

PEAQ 399 TRIATHLON SWIMMING
Credits: 1
Format: Two 50-minute sessions per week
Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Prerequisite: Swimming II or equivalent and ability to swim 500 yards continuously

Content: Learn how to swim more efficiently, naturally and effortlessly. Complete the swim leg with energy to spare for the bike and run. This class will emphasize freestyle (crawl) technique, while increasing efficiency and endurance.

PEAQ 399 SP. ST. SWIM PILATES
Credits: 2
Format: Four 50-minute sessions per week
Level: Intermediate to advanced
Prerequisite: Ability to swim 50 yards continuously and be comfortable in deep water.

Content: This course consists of four 50-minute workouts per week: Pilates mat workouts on Monday and Wednesday, and swim workouts on Tuesday and Thursday. Special emphasis in Pilates sessions is placed on core conditioning/flexibility for swimmers. The swim portion will focus on stroke technique, efficiency, and building endurance.
