PEI 199 FRISBEE/DISC GOLF
Credits: 1
Level: Beginning
Prerequisite: None
Content: Disc Golf is one of the most popular new sports these days. It combines many of the rules of golf with the skills of throwing discs (Frisbees). Students will learn the rules, techniques, strategies and etiquette of Disc Golf from the current #1 player in the world!
PEI 201 JUGGLING 1

Format: Two 50-minute sessions per week
Level: Beginning
Prerequisite: None
Content: This class introduces and develops juggling skills with balls, rings, clubs and other props. There is an emphasis on creative exploration, relaxation and fun.
PEI 202 JUGGLING 2
Credits: 1
Format: Two 50-minute sessions per week
Level: Intermediate
Prerequisite: Juggling 1 or equivalent
Content: This class continues the development of juggling skills with balls, rings, clubs and other props.
PEI 221 BILLIARDS 1
Credits: 1
Format: Two 50-minute sessions per week
Level: Beginning
Prerequisite: None
Content: Billiards I is a pocket billiards class designed for those who have never played or for those who think of themselves as beginners or at best intermediate players. Basic fundamentals are emphasized which include grip, bridges, stance, stroke and aiming. Game skill such as draw, follow, cue ball control, caroms, and bank shots are introduced.
PEI 222 BILLIARDS 2

Format: Two 50-minute sessions per week
Level: Intermediate
Prerequisite: Billiards 1 or equivalent
Content: Billiards 2 is a pocket billiards class designed for those who have never played or for those who have some billiards experience, but more importantly are motivated to elevate their game. Fundamentals of stance grip, bridge, stroke and aiming are reviewed. By the end of the course students should be able to perform the various game skills such as draw, follow, english, cue ball control, caroms, bank shots and throws.
PEI 223 BILLIARDS 3
Credits: 1
Format: Two 50-minute sessions per week
Level: Advanced
Prerequisite: Billiards 2 or equivalent
Content: This class includes drills designed to improve playing skills, learning of game rules, etiquette, and strategies for taking your game to the next level. Combos, caroms, cuts, kicks and kisses will be taught along with rail shots, banking, position play and an introduction to the use of English.
PEI 241 GOLF 1
Credits: 1
Format: Eleven 90-minute sessions
Level: Beginning
Prerequisite: None
Content: An introductory course to the game that includes swing techniques for distance, pitching, chipping and putting; rules, etiquette, and golf vocabulary. Students in this class spend the majority of their time at the driving range.
Transportation: Students must provide their own transportation to River Ridge Golf Course, 3800 North Delta Highway.
PEI 242 GOLF 2
Credits: 1
Format: Eleven 90-minute sessions
Level: Intermediate
Prerequisite: Golf 1 or equivalent
Content: A course for the experienced golfer that reviews swing techniques for all situations, rules, etiquette, and golf vocabulary. Students in this class refine their skills on the course, and have friendly games with their classmates.
Transportation: Students must provide their own transportation to River Ridge Golf Course, 3800 North Delta Highway.
PEI 243 GOLF 3
Credits: 1
Format: Eleven 90-minute sessions
Level: Advanced
Prerequisite: Golf 2 or equivalent
Content: Golf III allows the advanced golfer to hone their basic skill with time on the driving range and putting green, but emphasis on course play.
Transportation: Students must provide their own transportation to River Ridge Golf Course, 3800 North Delta Highway.
PEI 251 ICE SKATING 1
Credits: 1
Format: Two 50-minute sessions per week
Level: Beginning
Prerequisite: None
Equipment: skates are provided at the rink
Content: Fundamentals of movement and safety, the execution of basic skills, terminology, the selection and care of equipment, balance, use of edges, forward and backward skating, and a general knowledge of the ice skating world. Students may choose to specialize in either figure skating or hockey. All participants will sample basics of each ice sport.
Extras: The class includes free skating during the public session immediately preceding or following the class.
Transportation: Students must provide own transportation to Lane County Ice Rink, 796 West 13th Avenue.
PEI 252 ICE SKATING 2

Format: Two fifty-minute sessions per week
Level: Intermediate
Prerequisite: Ice Skating 1 or equivalent
Equipment: skates are provided at the rink
Content: A coninuation of fundamentals introduced in Ice Skating 1, including turns, edges, spins, jumps, footwork, gliding moves and general knowledge of the ice skating world. Students may choose to specialize in either figure skating or hockey. All participants will sample basics of each ice sport.

PEI 399 GOLF SWING EXERCISE
Credits: 1
Content: This course will focus on off-season exercises, building strength, and strategies to improve your golf swing from start to finish. PGA pro Ric Jeffries will work with each student on their specific needs. This is a great winter activity for the serious golfer.
