PETS 101 BOCCE BALL

Credits: 1
Format: Eleven 90-minute sessions per week (spring term only)
Prerequisite: None

Content: Skills, drills, offensive strategies, rules and lots of game play!

Good news: Need to be outside and enjoy nice weather, you can't beat playing some bocce ball!

PETS 111 FLAG FOOTBALL
Credits: 1
Format: Eleven 90-minute sessions per week (spring term only)
Prerequisite: None

Content: Skills, drills, offensive and defensive strategies, rules and game play!

Good news: In the mood for some 7 on 7 flag football? Fire up and have some fun!

PETS 232 VOLLEYBALL 2
Credits: 1
Format: Two 50-minute sessions per week
Level: Intermediate
Prerequisite: beginning experience

Content: Skills, drills, offensive and defensive strategies, rules, laughs, a minimum of embarrassment, and lots of game play!

Good news: Played a little volleyball in high school or city league? Know how to play but never really competed? Competed before, but didn't like the pressure? We've got the class for you in VB II! Knee pads are recommended.

PETS 233 VOLLEYBALL 3
Credits: 1
Format: Two 50-minute sessions per week
Level: Advanced
Prerequisite: intermediate experience

Content: Skills, drills, big hits, occasional blocks, aces, friendly faces and lots of good play!
Good news: Asking yourself why you should spend more time getting better at a game that is listed low on the priority of sports that are loved in America? 'Cause it's a great time, that's why!! (And since when did you start following the crowd anyway?) Knee pads are recommended.

PETS 242 BASKETBALL 2
Credits: 1
Format: Two 50-minute sessions per week
Level: Intermediate
Prerequisite: beginning experience

Content: Shooting, ball handling, actual defense played here, give & go, back door, maybe even some rules.

Good news: Like to play but need some time to develop that 3 point shot? Know the rules, know the basics, but looking for more than another game of rat ball? We've got what you're looking for.

PETS 243 BASKETBALL 3
Credits: 1
Format: Two 50-minute sessions per week
Level: Advanced
Prerequisite: Intermediate experience

Content: Offenses, defenses, drills, full-court action, it's all here!

Good news: Heard the legendary stories of BX3? Maybe you're already a part of the fast-paced crowd that dominates the three-court gym in the SRC. Think Mac Court has tradition? They wish.

PETS 252 ULTIMATE FRISBEE 1
Credits: 1
Format: eleven 90-minute sessions
Level: Beginning
Prerequisite: None

Content: Throws, catching, moves, strategies, a rule or two, fun folks, and lots of lung clearing play.

Good news: Do you like to play games, but not in a rec ball setting? This is the course for you!

Format: eleven 90-minute sessions
Level: Intermediate
Prerequisite: Beginning experience

Content: Improve your skill and team play. Who knows, you may even want to try out for the club team after this course.

PETS 261 SOCCER 1

Format: eleven 90-minute sessions
Level: Beginning
Prerequisite: None

Content: Skills, drills, thrills, and spills. Offense, defense, rules and the like. This course offers a chance to run free, meet good people, learn a new game and get credit. Is college great, or what?

Level: Intermediate
Prerequisite: Beginning experience

Content: Skills, drills, shots, combos, strategies, and good times. Soccer is the most popular game in the world! What are you waiting for, the World Cup?

PETS 263 SOCCER 3

Format: eleven 90-minute sessions
Level: Advanced
Prerequisite: Intermediate experience

Content: Real high level stuff, banana kicks, dives, headers that go where you actually intend, philosophy, the meaning of life, you know, Phys. Ed. Soccer is the game of the new millenium and it's your sport. You're on top of the world, come show us why Pele is just a memory.

PETS 265 INDOOR SOCCER
Credits: 1
Format: two 50-minute sessions
Level: Intermediate-advanced
Prerequisite: Beginning experience

Content: Four walls, two goals, 1 ball, and non-stop action. Just because the weather goes bad doesn't mean you have to give up your sport of preference. Come on in and play it off the walls!
